At present, our pharmacy prescribes two forms of semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that's been shown to result in appetite suppression and significant weight loss in clinical trials.
The injectable for of semaglutide currently available in the UK is called Ozempic, and the oral (tablet) version is called Rybelsus. Ozempic is taken once weekly, whilst Rybelsus is taken daily with food.
Semaglutide is only suitable for certain patients, so we'll ask you to complete a thorough online assessment, followed by ID verification, before our pharmacy will write a prescription.
Wegovy is not yet available in the UK, however we expect it to be available in the coming months. If you'd like to get started on Ozempic, we can increase you to a maximum dose and then switch you to Wegovy once it's available.
The answer really depends on your lifestyle and personal preferences. Some people can't stand the thought of injecting themselves, so they may prefer to opt for Rybelsus. Others, however, might preer the simplicity of once weekly, rather than once daily, and opt for Ozempic.
The first thing we'll ask you to do it to complete a quick identity verification using a government-issued ID and a selfie camera (you can do this on a phone, tablet, or laptop, as long as it has a camera). We take this extra precaution to ensure that the medications our pharmacy prescribes are going to the same person whose information they are looking at. Then, we'll securely send your details through to our pharmacy, where a prescriber will have one final look to make sure everything looks good. Lastly, they'll write your prescription and ship the medication next-day delivery to you.
We do everything we can to make sure your medication gets to you in a timely fashion, but please note that Ozempic may take slightly longer to reach you if your order is processed anytime after Thursday at 5pm through the weekend.
Generally, if you complete your ID verification before 3pm Monday - Thursday, your order will be dispatched the same day on a next day service. If it's after 3pm, your order will go out the following day (unless it's after 3pm on a Thursday, in which case your order will go out the following Monday). As Ozempic must be stored cold, we don't ship it on Friday or over the weekend, as a missed Saturday delivery would open up the risk that the cold packing doesn't last long enough.
In some cases we will accept pre-orders for stock that will dispatch in the coming days. This will be made clear at the time of purchase.
Thank you for your patience receiving your order—every single order is personally looked at by one of our prescribers to make sure you're safe, so we appreciate you understanding that we're not quite as quick as Amazon!
At present, all patients on a Habitual GLP-1 plan will start on the minimum dosage of Ozempic or Rybelsus (0.25mg and 3mg, respectively), reflecting the guidance by the medication manufacturer as well as the British National Formulary (BNF). As patient safety is our top priority, we are not able to offer prescriptions of higher dosages, without the proper dose escalation period.
Before your second payment, you'll receive a link to an online assessment to check how you're getting on and whether you'd like to increase your dose. It's entirely up to you - we will never increase your dose without your permission. The standard second month dose is 0.5mg Ozempic and 7mg Rybelsus. The following month, you'll be asked if you'd like to increase again, which is to the maximum treatment dose (1mg Ozempic, 14mg Rybelsus).
Unfortunately we are not able to offer variations to this schedule at this time, even if you've previously been prescribed a semaglutide medication.
The typical pathway for Ozempic is to increase dosage once per month until you reach the maximum treatment dose (1mg), however we only increase the strength of your medication if you want to. You’ll receive an email 3 days before each payment with a link to fill out an online form which will ask if you’d like to increase dose. As every patient will react differently to the medication, we want to ensure you're comfortable and safe to increase your dose.
At present, we are only able to offer starting doses of 0.25mg Ozempic of 3mg Rybelsus, with monthly dose escalations thereafter. We follow guidelines by the medication manufacturer and regulatory body in the UK, which are clear that all patients should start on the minimum dosage.
Nope! Your subscription price will stay the same, regardless of the dosage you're on.
All of our GLP-1 medication plans cost £169 per month, which includes your prescription, medication, a sharps bin (if you've purchased Ozempic), weekly behavioural content delivered via email, and unlimited 1-on-1 and group support via WhatsApp. We sometimes run promotions so do keep an eye out for first month discounts!
Unfortunately at present we are only able to ship within the UK. Stay tuned!

Whilst Ozempic is licensed for patients with type 2 diabetes, it has become common practice to prescribe off-label Ozempic for patients looking to lose weight. Another medication, Wegovy, contains the exact same compound (semaglutide) as Ozempic, and it has been licensed for weight loss... but it's not yet available in the UK (although NICE has issued draft guidance for Wegovy, and it's expected to be available in spring of 2023). It's for this reason that off-label prescribing of Ozempic has become common practice.
Whilst Ozempic is licensed for use in patients with type 2 diabetes, at present we unfortunately do not take type 2 diabetes patients on our GLP-1 plans. Because patients with type 2 diabetes tend to be on other glycaemic medications, you'll need to ask your GP or diabetes nurse if you'd like to try Ozempic for blood sugar control.
Since Ozempic is licensed for type 2 diabetes, the NHS is only able to prescribe it to patients with certain conditions. Most people looking for general weight loss will not be able to get Ozempic from the NHS, however it's always worth asking your doctor.
Some people will be able to get Wegovy from the NHS when it becomes available later this year, however do bear in mind that there will be strict eligibility criteria and only about 35,000 patients will be able to access this service annually.
Ozempic is taken as a once-weekly, virtually painless injection into the thigh, upper arm, or belly.
All customers must start on 0.25mg, the minimum dose of Ozempic, as we follow guidance from the drug manufacturer about best-in-practice prescribing recommendations. After 4 weeks you'll have the option of increasing to 0.5mg, and after another 4 weeks to 1mg.
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept switching from other prescribers onto a higher dose.
